Patricia Bonaldi’s career in fashion began more than a decade ago with the launch of her eponymous collection of hand-embroidered couture gowns.

The Brazil native’s notable style of embroidery, bold prints and her steadfast dedication to craftsmanship quickly earned her notoriety in her home country and beyond.

Today, Patricia has been recognized by the Brazilian government for her efforts in sustainability and female empowerment. She continues to pave a new path for Brazilian fashion.

The richly detailed embroidery that is a hallmark of Patricia Bonaldi’s designs is a rarity in Brazil, as it is now in much of the world. This kind of meticulous handwork is most often found in haute couture, one of the last bastions of such laborous artisanal techniques. It’s a perfect example of the brand’s commitment to both technical expertise and boundless imagination.

Rather than outsourcing the production process to workers in other countries, Patricia established a school in her hometown of Uberlândia for the express purpose of teaching local men & women this special craft. Today, more than 300 of them are able to support their families because of the skills they have acquired.
