Daphne Selfe is 86 years old and is quite a busy fashion model. She has been modeling since she was young, and has appeared on magazine covers and videos. Because she is much older than the traditional fashion models, she stands out like a fabulously dressed thumb. Daphne believes that Botox is a waste of time and that we should all embrace our aging.
Amazon Eve is not only six feet eight inches tall, but she is also transgender, making her one of the most unique fashion models in the industry. If Eve looks familiar, then you probably remember her from “American Horror Story: Freak Show”, as she has a fairly memorable role on the show. Eve went through her share of bullying growing up because of her height and sexual identity. But she found inspiration from the Amazonian women she read about in the history books.
Casey Legler is a female who works full time as a male model. She first became drawn to the modeling industry after a friend asked her to pose as a man for a photo shoot. Casey has made a very lucrative career from modeling male clothing, and many onlookers can barely tell that she is a woman. She is currently signed with Ford Modeling Agency.
Alex Minsky was serving in Afghanistan when his Humvee ran over a bomb, causing him to lose his right leg. After 47 days in a coma and being honorably discharged, Minsky was discovered by a modeling agent while he was working out at a gym in Los Angeles.
Tess Munster has recently made headlines and has taken the media by storm by being the first model to sign with an agency who is 5’5” and wears a size 22 dress.
